Whilst studying Art and Design in the beautiful city of York my specialism was in Graphic Design. Post Graduation I utilised the skills gained to forge a successful career as an Illustrator / Graphic Designer. Working within a variety of companies gave me valuable commercial experience as an artist. Throughout the last year I have been able to focus on my painting. Commissioned work together with pieces produced for family and friends has reignited my passion in this field. My preference for materials is Acrylic on canvas or Watercolour and it excites me when a vibrant pallette brings a scene to life as demonstrated in my NewYork cityscapes work. I relish the opportunity to explore different kinds of mixed media in my work too (collage etc...) My love of travel provides lots of inspiration and stimulus. This enables me to produce work which encapsulates my passion, experience and memories. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I delight in creating it.
